UPDATE: And the winner is….Mezon in Danbury!
One of the best ways to wind down a summer day is with a fresh, cold cocktail. But there’s no need to settle for a run-of-the-mill drink.
Southwestern Connecticut restaurants and bars offer unique cocktails like a Green Tea Mojito at Market Place in Danbury, a Rosemary Maple Bourbon Sour at Mama’s Boy in Norwalk, and many, many more.
This summer seems to be a big mango year, according to Hearst Media reporter Phyllis Boros.
“Area bartenders say the popularity of mango in general is high, mainly because many Americans have come to regard the fruit as no longer ‘exotic,'” she writes.
Whatever the flavor, we want to know where to get the best summer cocktails in southwestern Connecticut. Vote for your favorite spot in the poll below. Don’t see your pick? Leave a comment and we’ll add it. Poll closes at noon on Friday.
